Today was Kevin's first Father's day and as I am sitting here tonight thinking over the past 6 months that we have been parents I am so blessed that I married such an amazing person. Kevin truly is such a blessing to me and Braxton and I am so grateful to be able to raise my kids with him!! I thought I would share a few reasons why Kevin is the best Daddy!!
1. He changed Braxton's first 3 diapers in the hospital and also the first dirty one.
2. I remember I was such an aqward first time mom in the hospital. So whenever the nurses or any visitors would come in the room I would make Kevin hold Braxton because he was so natural at being a dad and could comfort him when he would start to cry and I felt I didn't know how to do that.
3. When ever Kevin gets home the first thing he does is play with Braxton and give him lots of love and attention. Braxton already loves playing with Kevin more than me because Kevin is way more fun than me. He is always reading him books or taking him on walks.
4. Braxton lights up and gets the biggest smile whenever Kevin walks in the room. And NO he never gets that way with me, I know sad for me right?
5. I can see and feel the love Kevin had for Braxton and it is amazing and I know Braxton feels it as well.
6. I remember back when Kevin and I were dating and one of the things that made me fall in love with him was I knew what a good father he was going to be to my kids.
7. Kevin is the best example and role model for Braxton. If Braxton can turn out to be like his dad and have his qualities he is going to be such an amazing father one day!!
I love you Kevin!!

Awwwwww, feelin the Kissel love. What a good daddy & good guy he is. I remember you always raving about what a good dad he would be when you were dating. Or when he was playing hard to get. One of the two! :)
haha chelseas comment made me laugh... Kevin sure did like to play hard to get haha and we all know YOU get what you want :)
SO.. what is all this "KISSEL LOVE" talk.. im really curious, is this what u call u and kevin or is it some sort of nickname like "Dove" is for chelsea and Jer? haha please do explain so i can get in on it!

AWE Jenna, I love the list of reasons you love kevin! he sounds like an amazing dad and husband, good for you! also, the pictures of your families together, i have one question? how many siblings does kevin have, and is he the oldest? and love the chops on tanner! what a fun family gathering!
Tawny....the Kissel name is a joke that I called Kevin back when we got married and I called it to him in front of Chels once and now she likes to use it because it is funny, but you are NOT aloud to start calling him that at all I can only handle one person doing that.
Brittany....ha ha I am laughing at you, I can imagine you seeing the pictures and thinking, what the heck that is a lot. He is the oldest, there are 8 kids in his family. 7 boys and 1 girl and one of the little boys that are 4 is adopted.
hahaha oh kissel kissel kissel.. i still want to know the definetion behind it and why i never heard about it.. oh gosh u and chelsea with your husband nicknames what am i going to do with you two?
Hi Jenna! This post made me smile because one, I am sure Kev is such an awesome dad and two, your comment about your little guy getting so excited to see his daddy.. I am sure our kids are gonna be way more excited about Port than they are about me.. he is way more fun. :) Looks like you guys are doing good! email your address to me when you get a chance.. baby shower's coming up. :)
