I have wanted to get curtains in my family room since we moved in out house, but I wanted to wait tell we went to LA this summer so I could get the fabric cheaper. Finally we got the fabric and after a few really stressed out days of thinking that I did not get enough fabric and that is was not the right color we got them up and they look great!! The picutres really don't do much justice to them but they look amazing, it is crazy how much curtains can make a room look so much more "homey". They really were the finishing touch that I wanted for my family room!! And now I know you are all thinking there is no way she did that... and your right!! I know, I am so spoiled to have a mom that can do almost anything and helps me with everything!! But I would like to say that I did cut all of the fabric so that counts for something right?? So thanks mom for all of your work, I love them!! And don't worry I am going to let you rest a few weeks before we start my next project (pillows and more curtains in other rooms)

Finally..... we have curtains!!

I am confused though on how they curtains are set up, can you not close them or pull them over to cover the blinds they just stay at the ends of the blinds?

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute. Love love love them. Luckily I know how you feel now that we have curtains in our place too but only thanks to our lovely landlords that graciously left them for us poor students! Tell Sandy to keep that machine warm because she really needs to teach us one day so we can offically become "domesticated" I'll be home Oct. 17th-Chris's farewell. We need to do our shopping day for sure this time.

no kidding! you have such an awesome mom... uh, next time you are working on curtains, can you call me over to OBSERVE so I can learn to do mine? that would be the finishing touch in my living room....i love the curtain rods not covering the whole window... where did you get em?
Your curtains look great! They really do make a difference, especially in our case when we had a mattress there previous to finding curtains! So it was a vast improvement! That is cool you have such a talented momma, Lana is that for me too she is awesome! I love your house, I need you to come and give me pointers! Braxton is a doll, and those feisty months come and go....and then come back again! But I remember feeling confused and frustrated all the same. I wish I had some advice but all I can say is good luck and just love him and all will turn out well! Hope to hear from you soon!
