Since we discussed this at Bunco last week, I thought I would give all of you an update on how we did. Since Kevin and I have been married he has traveled a lot. And everyone that knows me at all knows that I hate being home alone.... it freaks me out. So this weekend Kevin went snowboarding and I thought for the first time I am going to try and stay home by myself with Braxton. He left Thurs. night and things were going good, I was feeling calm. I had already called my neighbors that day and asked them to sleep with their cellphone in their room this weekend (thanks Eager's)So I got ready for bed around 11:00, things were good I had my cell phone, my house phone, and a really big knife in bed next to me... then I closed my eyes and it began.... I started to panic. And that's how long we survived on our own, I was quite proud that I made it that long this time, usually I don't even start off trying to stay home alone. So at 11:30 I called my brother and he came and stayed the night and the next 2 nights we stayed at my parents. Braxton was also sick this weekend for the first time, it broke my heart... he had a really bad fever. 1 good thing that came of it is he slept in my arms all night on Sat. night. As you can guess I didn't sleep much at all but since my little angel never lets me cuddle or rock him to sleep I was in heaven that he wanted to sleep in my arms!!

HA!!! Are you kidding me, crazy???? big girls sleep in their own house, in their own bed, without KNIVES! Did you seriously sleep with a knife!? You are insane! why oh why are you such a scardey cat? you would think you were a victim of some violent crime growing up! well thanks for the laugh anyway, and thanks for the phone tag that we are playing as I type. You're it.

eeek! ditto on chelsea's comment! lol, the first thing that came to mind was, were you left alone as a child? is that why you are such a scaredy cat?! lol... well at least you have wonderful neighbors, and family that look out for you. just take baby steps, do you have a house alarm? that makes me feel better when scott works nights! and chel, i have a knife in my bedside drawer, its a smaller kitchen knife, but just in case the killer gets too close! lol:)
That's really funny.. I use to be the same way, when I 12! At least you tried, right? And I know how you feel about cuddling, Colter was the same way but as he's gotten older he's really come around. Just give it time.
That's one of the things I love about you... How did you ever survive on your own before you and Kevin got married?

hahahahaha!! I agree 100% with EVERYTHING Chelsea said.. she took it all right out of my mouth!! hahaha you are the biggest scardy cat ive ever met in my life... its really funny actually, im completly opposite!! I should be more scared of somethings! haha
