Braxton was born with a flat spot on the back of his head. The pediatrician said it was from him always laying on that side of his head in my stomach. Since Braxton was born he has grown to love that flat spot. He would always shake his head back and forth when I would put him down to sleep tell he found that flat spot to sleep on. He was also very particular to how he would like to be held, he always wanted to be held or fed so that flat spot was resting on your arm. Well....since he loved that dang flat spot so much and would always lay on it, it never got better. Thankfully he had a head full of hair to cover it up. Since it is not getting better the Dr. said we needed to get the helmet. So... $3,600 later (that's right insurance does not cover it) and our big screen TV and entertainment system savings Braxton got his helmet. I mean everyone always said children are expensive, but our little bundle of joy is just 5 months.... oh man I am nervous for the future expenses this child is going to bring us, I am not sure that we budgeted correctly. And since it is so hot the poor guy's head sweats in the thing so yes.... we also had to buzz his hair. The good news is he should only have to keep it on for 2-3 months!!

OH MY GOSH the helmet is the CUTEST thing ever! he is so adorable, and i love the new buzzzz! he is getting chubbier, and cuter by the day! wow, i cant believe insurance does not cover something like that!? those helmets are expensive! holy moly, but hey, you guys sacrificed for the greater good, and brax will thank you when he is older and has a round head!
yes he will thank you! he looks just as adorable!! and 2-3 months, thats nothin! Awesome.

Im looking forward to babysitting him next friday all day, but he better be good, you should prob start warning him ahead of time to be really good for aunt tawny or i might ship him back to you!! But we will have fun with laughing, sleeping and possibly more photos u wont see till i post? :)

well... you shouldnt be scared to leave him with me. The only reason you should ever be scared to leave him with me is if hes really bad and crys a lot because than you will have to come home! :) haha just kidding it will be fine and fun!! but when he sleeps I SLEEP to!!! so hopefully he sleeps here and there he usually doesnt like to sleep when i am babysitting him. Can you please write out a list of instructions and direcetions for me? haha just kidding just kidding!
